UPDATE: Now I am NOT so excited. Because my store still hadn’t gotten the new boxes in stock. And didn’t think they would for a while, until Kellogg’s cleared out all their old stock. Sooooo, why are they releasing coupons for items that aren’t on the shelves yet. GRRR!
OK, so I am VERY excited. First of all, because Kellogg’s Rice Krispies now appear to be GLUTEN FREE! Secondly, because Giant’s super-duper deal on cereal and milk from last week has been revived for this week, with Kellogg’s instead of General Mills. So, last week I stocked up on 8 boxes of Chex and got 2 gallons of free milk. This week, I think I’ll do the same with the Rice Krispies! The third thing I am excited about is, that along with this wonderful deal, Kellogg’s has released new coupons for, what else, the Rice Krispies! And they are high value, too!
So, on to the deal:
Buy any 4 Kellogg’s cereals, get $6.00 off instantly, plus get a Catalina for $4 off a gallon of milk!
This is what I am going to do, if my Giant has the new GF Rice Krispies in stock:
Buy 2 Rice Krispies $6.50 ($3.25 each average shelf price)
Buy 2 Kellogg’s Special K Low Fat Granola Cereal $6.98 ($3.49 each average shelf price) – I am buying these because you can only print 2 of each coupon per Kellogg’s account. I know they are NOT GF, but hey, the non-GF member of our family (me) can eat it, or we can donate these!
Total: $13.48
Use:
(2) coupons for $0.70 off any ONE package of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Gluten Free (will deduct $1.70, as the first one will double)
(2) coupons for $0.70 off any ONE package of Kellogg’s Special K Low Fat Granola Cereal (will deduct $1.70, as the first one will double)
Total after coupons: $10.08
Total after $6 instant savings: $4.08
Final Cost: $4.08 for 4 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk!
